Metatron's Cube and the Tree of Life

Before moving on, let's review the facts about the Cube and the Tree. We know that:

  • The cube is depicted with either 13 or 19 circles; with the thirteen circle version emphasizing the three axes which indicate the "six directions in space", and the nineteen circle version emphasizing the cube image.

  • The thirteen circle image maps to the dodecahedron, with the central circle being the corner and the other twelve circles being the twelve pentagonal faces. This depends on six of the circles accounting for faces on the back side of the dodecahedron; to get a figure that would actually map to a 3D dodec. would require a "double cube".

  • The cube is a "polygonal projection" of the hexagram, or Star of David, and the sets of parallel lines that result from the figure constitute what architects and designers have referred to as the "ad triangulum" form used in cathedral design. The hexagon, which forms the basis of this, is intimately related to the vesica, the equilateral triangle, the rectangle, and the 30-60-90 triangle which has a short side that is half it's hypotenuse.

  • The Nine Worlds figure derives directly from this version of the cube, by dropping four of the circles.

  • If we overlap the nineteen circles (like vesicas) in the other version of the cube, we get the Flower of Life.

  • The Kircher tree with ten spheres does not derive from the thirteen circle cube, but requires the other version. It comes directly from the flower figure.

  • The Kircher tree depends entirely on the vesica piscis and the hexagons that it produces. It resolves into a "double cube" which is itself related to the vesica, and it looks like a ladder rather than a tree.

  • The A-shaped "Portae Lucis" tree does not derive from the thirteen circle cube. In generating the two new spheres, this figure only moves them one radius from Daath, instead of one diameter of the circles; this places them on the edges of the triangle within the cube image, creating a figure that actually looks like a tree.

  • The A-shaped tree, featuring a triangle, a rectangle, a pentagon and a hexagon , maps to the dodecahedron, while the H-shaped tree does not.

The Tree and the DC Map

Looking at the original DC planning map (from 1792), we see the clear depiction of a somewhat shortened pentagram (the southern point of which falls on the White House), with New Hampshire Avenue (in yellow, below right) passing through two of it's corners.

Playing connect the dots with the other side, and closing the base, produces an isosceles triangle that is shortened just like the pentagram, and which has base angles of 52 degrees, like the Great Pyramid. You may know about the Ellipse, the shortened circle, just south of the White House. These three shortened figures suggest that they were all part of a larger template that was itself shortened to match the cross-section of the Great Pyramid.

Looking a bit further, we can see that all the geometric elements of the tree/cube that were introduced before, are contained in the DC map with reduced height. All eleven points on the tree (including Daath) correlate to monuments in the map layout. The address for the National Archives Bldg, located at sphere number 7, is 700 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The city planners utilized Metatron's Cube and the A-shaped tree as templates for the plan, with one small change; they reduced the height of the triangle from sixty to fifty two degrees to match the cross-section of the Great Pyramid, producing shortened versions of circles, pentagons and hexagons in the process.

The White House is at the center of the figure where the diagonals of the hexagon cross, at one corner of the pentagram. Scott Circle is where the diagonals of the pentagram cross, at one of the corners of the hexagon. Note how the hexagon and pentagon overlap to form the rhombus and cross from the vesica. The map figures the triangle, the rectangle, the pentagon and the hexagon.

The pentagon in the map makes it clear that the A-shaped tree, derived from Metatron's Cube, was the model for this.
