16th Street Axis |
|---|
While the tree does not work on the mall, it does work on the 16th Street axis. You just have to look at the right version of the tree.If you have ever studied the DC map, you will know that it features the beginnings of a triangle, formed by New Hampshire Ave that connects two of the points of the pentagram. Conecting the points on the east side completes this triangle formed by the pentagram. Note the N-S axes that correlate to the points. Compare the map to the Tree of Life image.
![]() This appears to be the template for 16th Street in DC.
![]() While there are two major forms of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, I believe that you can see, the map favors one that is triangular and A-shaped, rather than one that is H-shaped, as in the Kircher tree.
![]() The person who gave you the comparison of Versailles and the 1901 plan also seeks to correlate Kircher's version of the Tree of Life to the DC map, centering on 16th Street. Note that he is only able to locate 5 of the spheres, and the White House is easy to figure out. Something that is obvious here, is that he is not working from the map image out, but is applying an idea that he has, which has a symbol, to the map; and forcing it if he has too. His image makes no attempt to map the tree to the actual points on the map that he claims for them. He just throws the tree image over the map. If he were to actually attempt a fit, just like with Versailles and the map, he would see that the Kircher tree doesn't work. In particular, if you scale the tree half of the image up, so that the top of the tree matches where 16th intersects New Hasmpshire, two spheres are misplaced.
![]() He is working from a conclusion to the map. The Title is The "Occult" Origins of America, and he has an idea that these ppl might put the Tree of Life in their occult plan, but he can only 6 of the points. And this guy wrote me and accused me of borrowing the idea from him.
OctogonsI would characterize these people as clueless. They think they know; but not only do they not know, they can't even get facts straight, and they appear to hope that the reader will not look at what they present with a critical eye. This image features another idea that was thrown at the map, but which doesn't fit.
![]() The above is taken from "The Temple and the Lodge" by Baigent and Leigh, authors of "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", and is supposed to depict octogons in the DC map. I don't get it? But this nonsense does not keep them from selling lots of books. The initial idea of course is that the streets radiating out from the WH and CB look like templars crosses, which can be see an inscribed within an octogon. These octogons would have to be quite irregular, as you can see. Maybe rhombus was the word that they were looking for. The claim is made that "The original design of Pierre-Charles L’Enfant was later modified by Washington and Jefferson to produce the specifically octagonal patterns incorporating the particular cross used by the Masonic Templars".
