Washington DC Monumental Core Shown to Be
Analogous to the Milan Cathedral

Obelisk in Cathedral Plan

At some point, I was looking closely at the cathedral plan, when I noticed the intersection of two sets of lines that figured an obelisk. This immediately reminded me of the Washington Monument, and then I noticed that the obelisk was located pretty much where the Monument should be on the DC tree/map. This of course led me to question whether the other monumental structures that mark spheres on the tree in the map, might be related, in some way to features in the cathedral elevation plan?

These two images show the obelisk in the cathedral plan (looking east toward the rising sun), and the Washington Monument (also looking east) eclipsing the Capitol Building. Note the juxtaposition of the obelisk and dome in both images. It looks sort of sexual to me, how about you? The obelisk fits into the space of the dome, where the light enters, above the crossing and the altar. This is exactly where we find the windows located in the monument. As you can see, if you had the right vantage point (high in the air) you would see the Monument conceptually fitting into the dome of the CB too.

     

Note that the Washington Monument is located at the ninth sphere, that it has a ratio of 1:10 between the length of it's sides and it's height, and that 36 feet 10 inches of that is located underground, like the crypts in cathedrals.

Alpha and Omega

Later, while contemplating the figures in Metatron's Cube, for some reason I began thinking of the the phrase, I aM Alpha and Omega, and the word IAO. As I looked at the image below, I began to see more letters contained with in it. At first the ones centered on the vertical axis, which is the letter I.

Then it hit me; Alpha, Delta and Lambda all derive from a triangle, while Omicron, Phi and Omega all derive from the circle. I is the vertical axis, Alpha is the triangle and Omega is the circle in the Cube. Looking at the map, we see the Wash. Mmt, as the I, the House of the Temple as the Alpha at the top, and the Jefferson Memorial is the Omega at the bottom.

It's All Greek to Me

In the philosophical or cosmological sense, the begining (alpha) would be the heavens or spirit, while the end (omega) would be the earth or matter, which we have already shown to be associated with male and female respectively. You have, no doubt, used the phrase "alpha male" yourself.

The letter alpha, is clearly phallic, while omega.... well, you tell me. Here (above) are the lower and upper case images of the Greek letter Omega.

It should be clear by now to anyone who has ever studied comparative symbology that both the cross and the letter "T" (Tau) are male phallic symbols. As Fulcanelli says in "Mysteries of the Cathedrals, "The cross is a very ancient symbol, used in all ages, in all religions, and one would be wrong to consider it as a special emblem of Christianity".

The term "solar-phallic" has been used to describe the patriarchal cults and religions which displaced the old matriarchal mysteries which used the moon as their prime emblem. You will note that the circle with a point in the center, now used as the astrological symbol for the sun, derives from the Greek letter theta. Tau and theta are different aspects of the same idea, and relate as Father and Son (sun).

X Marks the Spot

Here is a graphic interpretation designed using the Greek letters for the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity; the men use the "T" while the women use the "X". Tau means art or craft, like "the craft" and the "great work", while chi means "and", the crossing.

The sorority pen for the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, features a lyre, a musical instrument symbolic of the notion of harmony, equilibrium and balance, with 22 pearls, like the 22 Hebrew letters and the paths on the Tree of Life. [Note that the Greek alpha-bet has 24 letters, not 22.]

The first line of "The Symphony of Alpha Chi Omega" reads, "To see beauty even in the common things in life"; if you substitute the word "gold" for beauty we get an expression of Alchemy. My point is merely that the Cabala and Alchemy have crept into places that many of us would never even think to look, that is they are out in the open.
